Sustainable Ypsilanti
There's a new discussion group called Sustainable Ypsilanti meeting at 7:30pm on the third Thursday of each month at the Michigan Avenue library to discuss how to make our lives and our city more sustainable. Plans being discussed range from the small and individual to group projects for the city. Join the group if you are (or would like to be):
- Growing your ownfood?
- Making your own electricity?
- Providing your ownhuman-powered transportation?
- Interested in how groups and citiescan plan to become more independent?
- Worried about rising energycosts?
- Concerned about the consequences of global warming?
