Support the Police and Firefighter Memorial Garden
Dear Neighbors,
I know that we are all enjoying the wonderful new gateway to our Midtown community, the Police and Firefighter Memorial Garden on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Ballard. Isn't it wonderful?! What an improvement! And what an honor to Midtown to have this new garden in our neighborhood!
If you appreciate this memorial as much as I do, or if you believe strongly in supporting our fallen heroes and their families, I hope you will consider joining me in buying a memorial brick for the garden. Your brick will have a short message of your choice engraved into it to pay witness to your generosity. Your donation will go to pay off the debt that was created in building the memorial.
Prices are as follows:
- $100—6x6 paver (4 lines, 12 characters per line)
- $200—6x12 paver (4 lines, 20 characters per line)
- $500—12x12 paver (11 lines, 20 characters per line or company logo)
Please consider contributing to this worthy cause with the benefit of placing your permanent fingerprint on the memorial! Don't forget the value that this beautiful project has added to our homes. Most importantly, don't forget the value it's added to our lives as we are lucky enough to have our eyes settle upon such a lovely sight as we sit at that stop light. I'm sure I don't have to remind you of the dirty mess that used to occupy that lot!
